Kru Darwin Miranda

Kru Darwin Miranda has been part of Ontario Muaythai history for 20 years and counting. Like many of the gym owners in province, Darwin began his Muaythai journey at Siam No. 1 under the tutelage of Ajarn Suchart. He went on to promote the art of Muay Thai in the GTA through his school Krudar, voted by Toronto media as one of the top martial arts schools in the city.

Darwin officially opened the doors to Krudar in 2005. The school made history in 2015 when it hosted Muaythai Ontario’s inaugural event, which happened to be the 10 year anniversary of Krudar. His school has produced international talent such as Yumiko Kawano, Janice Lyn, and Josimar Tulloch, to name a few.

This is an incredible episode! I was lucky enough to meet Kru Dar and Yumiko a while back at a Triumphant event in Oakland, CA. His words have cut thru straight to my core. Kru Dar’s talk about loyalty, gym hopping, a martial artists respect, his journey, his humility is all noteworthy and an example to be inspired by. Thanks Ryan for yet another gift through your podcast! Kop Kun Krap. respect.
