My Relationship with Professor Jesse Richardson
I met Professor Jesse Richardson in 2010 at his Academy in Vaughan. I primarily went to Matador to enhance my Muay Thai with Kru Steve Bettencourt, and ended up enrolling in the BJJ program. Jesse was an amazing instructor. He spent a lot of his personal time sharing his experience with me, and his philosophy on the art. Being a deep thinker, I automatically tuned into what Jesse was trying to teach me. His progressive style of Jiu JItsu resonated with me. My love for BJJ definitely began at Matador.
