Clifton Brown is Canada’s first Muay Thai World Champion. Now retired, Clifton earned titles with the WMC, IMF and IKKC. His career began under the tutelage of Ajahn Suchart at the famous Siam No. 1 Muay Thai club in Toronto, Canada.

Career

Brown competed as a Light Heavyweight contender in Muay Thai. He retired with a professional record of 55-11, with 32 wins by KO. Besides his training in Canada, Clifton also spent a great deal of time training at the world-renowned Sityodtong Muay Thai Camp in Chonburi, Thailand, under the guidance of Yodtong Senanan, arguably the greatest Muay Thai teacher in history.

Life After Fighting

Clifton Brown was honoured as the head coach for Canada’s first amateur National Muay Thai team that competed at the IFMA World Championships in Minsk, Belarus in 2017.

Today you can find Clifton coaching the new generation of Canadian Muay Thai athlete at Lotus Fitness & Thai Boxing, in Toronto.
